But when they're both legal age consenting adults and they want to fuck.... What's the big deal?

Why should anyone care when a 30 year old woman has sex with her 60 year old father? Or a 20 year old man is screwing his 25 year old sister?

I believe if they are of age and both are ok with it it's not a big deal. If you believe the Bible and everything started with Adam and eve then everyone has incest because we are all related. I've been having sex with family members since I was 18.

 

When their mother died my two cousins had sex together at a hotel they were staying at, they were both in their 30's.
My cousin felt bad about it and told his wife, nobody divorced but it was a little awkward.
To be honest I would have never turned her down on the offer either.

 

Probably because if a kid happens from it chances are high of genetic issues.

 

There is nothing "wrong" with two consenting adults having sex. But it doesn't mean that everyone has to into it or understand it. It's just none of my business what consenting adults do in private.

 

I think primarily it’s a social taboo going back thousands of years. Secondarily, in modern times, if a child is produced by the coupling, there’s a huge chance it will have severe genetic problems/birth defects.

Now that I’ve answered that question, riddle me this Batman: why is bigamy (having multiple wives) illegal and frowned upon? Same with polyamory.

 

The correct word is polygyny and not bigamy or polygamy. The fact is that the government doesn't like it because men with multiple wives have lots of children and those children are loyal to their family instead of the state.

In my situation I can have up to 4 wives so it's no big deal for me.

 

The government has no business being in the “marriage business.”

Probably because it’s seen as having no sense of self control or no sense of moral responsibility. Basically - “Hey, X fucks their own (family member status), what other depraved acts is X into or doing? Could they be into dead things?”

 

I feel like there are certain levels of incest. You’ve got immediate family, immediate extended family and extended family. The extended family part is ok, but immediate family should be off limits and immediate extended family should be looked at on a case by case basis.

I’ve posted a few times about my relationship with my second cousin. We maintain a healthy sex life without her boyfriend/fiancé even knowing. Her “girls nights out” is really just her coming over and taking a load. We are careful though. If she tells me ahead of time that she doesn’t want me to pull out, I make sure I have plan B available for her.
